The company Toschi was established in 1945
in Vignola (Modena), when Giancarlo and
Lanfranco Toschi first dipped the famous
Vignola cherries into alcohol to preserve them
and enjoy them all year round.

The company Toschi was established in 1945
in Vignola (Modena), when Giancarlo and
Lanfranco Toschi first dipped the famous
Vignola cherries into alcohol to preserve them
and enjoy them
all year round.
1952
STEEPING LIQUEUR
PRODUCTION
1952 sees the debut of Toschi Cherry Brandy:
a liqueur obtained by steeping the famous
black cherries of Vignola in alcohol.
1953
FERRARI CAR GIFT BOX FOR
LIQUEUR TOSCHI
In 1953 Toschi teams up with the legendary,
world-beating Ferrari name to launch its products.
Champion driver Alberto Ascari endorses the
special gift box; a miniature racing car containing
three bottles of
Toschi liqueurs.
1960
CHERRIES SYRUP PRODUCTION,
AMARENA CHERRIES
By now WW2 is fast into memory and here is
again room for creativity, imagination
and inspiration. Work begins on the Vignola’s
delicious fresh local, and our syrups and
bottled Amarena
cherries are born.
2016
TOSCHI USA
The USA has always been one of the main export
markets of Toschi Vignola. Market manned with
great success above all by products such as
liqueurs: Fragolì and Nocello, Candied Amarena
and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI. For this reason,
in 2016 the company founded and opened a
commercial branch in the USA, with the presence
of employees on the territory to strengthen and
consolidate the sales of Toschi products.
TODAY
Sour cherries are one of the most famous Toschi’s
products. Today, just as sixty-five years ago, only the
very best black Sour cherries are carefully selected,
stoned and sweetened. They are ideal as a garnish
for cheese, cocktails, charcuterie, and desserts like
cakes and ‘semifreddi’ (ice-cream cakes) or to create
very special ice-creams, milkshakes and water ices.
